MarketStar, RSL and Ogden School Foundation Partner to Award All Ogden School District K-6 Teachers Funds for Creative Classroom Projects
Ogden, Utah – Feb. 5, 2020 – The MarketStar Foundation is partnering with the RSL Foundation to expand educational opportunities by awarding funds for creative classroom projects to all kindergarten through sixth grade teachers in Ogden School District in a special “Scoring for Schools” announcement assembly at New Bridge Elementary School on Monday, February 10 at 9:00 a.m.
Nick Rimando and Leo the Lion from the RSL family along with Dell Loy Hansen, RSL Owner, Keith Titus, MarketStar Chief Executive Officer, Rich Nye, Ogden School District Superintendent, Janis Vause, Ogden School Foundation Director and Mike Caldwell, Ogden City Mayor, will be in attendance to make the announcement. We also expect representatives from the Ogden School Foundation Board and Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce at the assembly.

In 2018, RSL Owner Dell Loy Hansen and the RSL Foundation launched Scoring for Schools, a program which awards funds to elementary school teachers for classroom supplies. This program helps teachers get the exact resources their classrooms need to bring creative learning opportunities to their students. To date, Scoring for Schools has awarded more than 3,000 teachers funds totaling over $650,000.
For the 2019-2020 school year, the RSL Foundation has partnered with MarketStar, a global company based in Ogden, Utah to expand this program to the Ogden and Weber school districts. The MarketStar Foundation was established in the fall of 2019 with a generous $1 million endowment from principal investor, Dell Loy Hansen, RSL Owner.
