a2b Fulfillment has been named a Multichannel Merchant Top 3PL for the fourth consecutive year, including them within a list of leading third-party logistics providers chosen by the editors of Multichannel Merchant (MCM).
“3PLs have become an increasingly important resource for ecommerce and direct-to-customer merchants who don’t have the capital to invest in their own distribution networks,” said Mike O’Brien, Senior Content Manager of Multichannel Merchant. “This is especially critical due to the ongoing lack of available commercial space for such facilities. We developed our Top 3PL listing as a valuable resource for merchants. Each company on the list has been selected based on its industry experience, range of capabilities and ability to handle high order flow during peak periods.”
Aside from its list of services, including order fulfillment and customer care, a2b was selected based on a number of big changes that took place in 2018. This past July, a2b Fulfillment opened its Western Facility in Ogden, UT, which consists of 120,000 square feet of operational space. The company also introduced “a2b Engage,” a client portal that allows companies to leverage the latest Business Intelligence (BI) technology to gain insight into the organization’s data, including Inventory, Orders, Receipts and Returns, Shipping and Trends, all complete with graphical reporting and mobile capabilities.
