The Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah and Hill Aerospace Museum are sponsoring a Vietnam Veteran Salute event on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 12:00 noon - 4:30 pm at the Hill Aerospace Museum. FREE ADMISSION!

This event will not only honor and celebrate Vietnam era Military Veterans but it will pay homage and remember those Utah military members who lost their lives during the Vietnam War.

A local band, “Outrageous,” that plays 60s and 70s period music will perform three 45 minute sets with special speakers and activities in between. Three Vietnam era Prisoners of War, Col. (USAF Retired) Jay Hess, Lt. Col. (USAF Retired) Bill Spencer, and Maj. (USAF Retired) Lynn Beens will speak along with several other dignitaries. There will be Food Trucks on site for patrons to enjoy. A number of the Museum's Vietnam era static display aircraft will be open giving attendees a chance to get up close and personal with the planes and helicopters. The open aircraft will be: F-105G, F-111E, F-4C, O-2A, CH-3E, C-7B, and the C-130B.

At the end of the event, the names of each of the fallen Utah Military members will be read and then “Taps” will be played to honor their memory and conclude the day’s activities.

A gate pass for Hill AFB is NOT required to visit the museum. Simply take Exit 338 off Interstate 15 in Roy, Utah, and enter the Museum grounds through the Museum gate.
