Hampton Inn & Suites partnered with Ogden Eccles Conference Center to give back to the community by providing the children of The Christmas Box House with Thanksgiving dinner and a movie.
The Christmas Box house is a shelter for children who are in state custody because of alleged abuse or neglect. The children stay there temporarily until a more permanent place can be found for them.
Hampton Inn & Suites provided the communication, space and staff for the dinner and projected movie, while the Ogden Eccles Conference Center provided a turkey dinner with pumpkin pie.
Many of the children were filled with joy during the event. A few of the children had expressed that they had never been in a hotel, or had a "fancy" dinner before.
